SNAP Simulation Engine Plug-In

In order to run SNAP tutorials or exams on your machine, an Active X plug-in needs to be installed. This is a one-time installation.

Installation Instructions:

1. Click Download the XStream.exe SNAP Simulation Plug-in
2. Save the Plug-in to your desktop. Do not run the program, even after it has finished downloading and asks again if you wish to run it.
3. Close the download dialog box and your browser. Both of these steps are important. The install will not write over any files that are held open by the browser.
4. Go to your desktop and double-click on the XStream icon. Agree to the license; when it disappears the installation is complete.
5. If prompted to, Vista users may need to select "the program has installed successfully."
6. Re-open Internet Explorer, return to SNAP and log in.

You must use Internet Explorer 6, 7, or 8 to run SNAP and the SNAP Simulation Engine plug-in.
